How thick is a book?

I could have answered how long is a string? But my answer was I take pictures and show them, and then I got an idea’.

A perfect topic for the blog, because there are never stupid questions, only stupid answers.
I hope this answer is not stupid because it is not entirely easy to answer as the thickness depends on several things.
Which model, how many sides, and how thick are the sides.
A calculation example
You want hard covers, they are front and back approx. 3+3mm and you want 25 pages with the standard thickness of 0.9mm.
It will be 6+25*0.9 = 6+22.5, i.e. a total of 28.5mm – so almost 3cm thick.
